Partnership with Totalmobile set to modernise care services, reduce delays, and improve the everyday experience for people receiving care across Inverclyde.
GLASGOW, UK – July 24 2025 – Inverclyde Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) has gone live with Totalmobile’s field service management platform, introducing new technology designed to help care teams deliver more responsive, consistent support to residents across the area.
Around 550 care staff now have access to tools that help them respond to real-time changes in care needs, onboard new service users more quickly, and spend more time supporting people and less time on admin. For residents, that means more reliable visits, fewer delays, and a smoother, more personalised experience of care in the home.
David Gould, Chair of the Inverclyde Integration Joint Board, the organisation that oversees local health and social care functions delegated to it by the council/health board and delivered by the HSCP said:
“This technology helps us work more efficiently by managing demand, reducing paperwork and ensuring the people we support in the community can get the help they need.”
– David Gould, Chair of the Inverclyde Integration Joint Board
Totalmobile’s platform enables care coordinators to adjust schedules dynamically without the need for manual input, allowing the system to respond in real time to unexpected changes. This flexibility will protect continuity of care, which is particularly important for vulnerable residents, and reduce pressure on Inverclyde’s frontline teams.
Chris Hornung, Managing Director of Public Sector at Totalmobile, added,
"It’s fantastic to see the Field First platform now live and making an impact. This partnership’s approach is all about delivering better services for people and supporting the teams who make that happen. We’re proud to be a partner on that journey, helping them bring lasting improvements to how care is managed and delivered."
– Chris Hornung, Managing Director of Public Sector at Totalmobile
The go-live follows a successful implementation period earlier this year.
