North West housing association Helena Partnerships is one step closer to a fully mobile workforce after signing a contract with (TotalMobile Partner) Capita’s software services business for its TotalMobile™ product.

TotalMobile™ will provide an organisation-wide mobile workforce solution which enables Helena staff to access, capture and edit information saved to a single system at any time and from any location.  Implementation will start this month and be rolled out across the organisation over the year ahead.

Colin Ward, Customer and Information Director at Helena, said: “The purchase of TotalMobile™ continues our established partnership with Capita and adds a new dimension to the existing mobile platform we developed back in 2006.

“TotalMobile™ provides the perfect platform for our in-house CRM system and will enable us to share and update customer information using smart e-form technology.

“This will improve productivity and deliver efficiencies at a time when maintaining excellent customer service is paramount.”

TotalMobile™  works with almost any mobile device and uses the concept of an ‘active middle office’, an intelligent software layer which sits between the user’s mobile device and back office systems to allow information to be transferred instantly.

Roger Birkinshaw housing director, Capita’s software services business, said: “TotalMobile™ empowers staff working away from the office and in the community by allowing data to be accessed and updated in real-time.

“This means that staff spend more time out on the road, maintaining the high standard of service which customers have come to expect from Helena.”
