Field First – Ben Gorm Release

Today marks a significant milestone: Ben Gorm is the very first quarterly “Mountain” release for the Field First platform. Until now, Totalmobile’s capabilities have been powerful yet distinct. With Ben Gorm we bind our capabilities into a single, cloud-native platform experience—one login, one design language, one data fabric, laying the bedrock for faster innovation in the quarters ahead.

The new mountain release cadence helps us simplify the roadmap by grouping releases and new features into strategic, predictable, bundled quarterly releases – enabling us to easily explain the roadmap, shape development based on user needs and feedback, and outline the innovation journey of our solutions.

Here’s What You Can Expect:

Field First Hub

Field First Hub is the central point of interaction with the Field First platform. Users gain a single point of access to Totalmobile’s full range of solutions, insights, and control features. The Field First Hub surfaces the latest What’s New feed, and includes a Navigation menu, which provides easy access to the Home, What's New, and Configuration sections, allowing users to navigate efficiently through the platform.

Platform Menu

A single drop-down lists every capability licensed to you—Asset Management, Scheduling, Job Management, Rostering and more. This integration allows for seamless navigation between the licensed applications and enhances overall user experience. It also provides Shortcuts, allowing all users access to specific pages such as Release Notes.

Help and Support

Quick, intuitive access to user guides, customer and technical support to ensure users can get the help they need when they need it. Customers gain direct access to service desk functions via Jira and FAQs.

Consolidated Login - SSO

One set of credentials unlocks all Field First applications. Built-in identity services handle the heavy lifting, improving security while sparing users multiple passwords.

Application UI Refresh

Field First branding now runs through Mobile, Scheduling, Job Management, Rostering and Asset Management. A consistent colour palette, navigation, icon set and typography make the platform feel like one product, not a bundle.

User Management

Field First Hub includes User Management functionality, which provides enhanced control over user accounts and permissions within the Field First platform. Administrators can add, update or disable accounts directly in the Hub, or automate the Joiners-Movers-Leavers process via SCIM. Name, email and role changes cascade instantly across every capability, tightening security and trimming admin time.
