Housing provider goes live with Totalmobile’s Field First Platform as it modernises frontline repairs and maintenance services

Be One Homes has gone live with Totalmobile’s Field First platform, using its Job Management capability as part of its wider initiative to modernise housing repairs and strengthen frontline services across its portfolio of 19,000 homes.

The go-live comes as Be One Homes continues to deliver a significant programme of investment in homes and communities across the North West. Alongside improving the safety and quality of housing stock, the organisation is strengthening the systems that support the delivery of repairs and maintenance services. The new platform will help teams plan and manage work more effectively, providing better access to information, improving communication with customers and supporting a more responsive, reliable repairs service.

The Job Management capability from Totalmobile will support more than 350 frontline operatives and back-office colleagues, bringing repairs activity, workforce coordination and operational information together within a single connected platform. It will provide managers with greater visibility of demand and workforce activity while supporting more consistent service delivery across repairs and maintenance for residents.

Gavin Clapp, Director of Property Maintenance at Be One Homes said:

As Be One Homes continues to evolve, we wanted to ensure the technology supporting our frontline teams evolved with us.

“This investment gives our colleagues a modern operational platform that better supports the way we deliver repairs today, while providing the flexibility to continue improving services as our organisation grows and changes.”

“Going live with Job Management is an important milestone in that journey. It gives our teams the information and tools they need to manage work more effectively and ultimately provide a better experience for residents.”

– Gavin Clapp, Director of Property Maintenance

The implementation has been delivered collaboratively by teams from Be One Homes and Totalmobile, with the new platform replacing legacy ways of working. The move establishes a modern operational foundation that can continue supporting future service improvements as organisational priorities evolve and demand grows.

Housing providers are increasingly recognising that investment in homes must be matched by investment in the frontline operations that keep those homes safe, maintained and responsive to residents' needs.

“The organisations making the greatest progress are connecting operational information, workforce management and service delivery so decisions are based on a complete view of what’s happening on the ground.”

“Field First has been built exclusively for organisations with field-based workforces. By bringing together the people, information and workflows behind every repair and maintenance activity, it gives housing providers the operational confidence to improve today’s services while building a stronger foundation for tomorrow.”

– David Webb, Managing Director for Housing and Facilities Management at Totalmobile

As housing providers continue to modernise services in response to rising resident expectations and increasing operational pressures, investment in connected frontline operations is becoming an increasingly important part of long-term service transformation.
