Council begins rollout of the Field First platform as part of a wider digital upgrade to deliver smoother repairs, more transparent communication and improved asset management.

 

BELFAST, UK – May 12 2026 –

New Forest District Council has selected leading field service management software provider, Totalmobile, to introduce a new digital platform that will modernise how housing repairs and properties are managed across the district.

Using Totalmobile’s Field First platform, the Council will streamline how repairs are scheduled, delivered and tracked, giving staff and residents clearer information at every stage of the process. The new approach reduces the manual work previously required and will provide a single, connected view of repairs and asset data. It will also strengthen the Council’s ability to manage its housing assets over the long term, ensuring homes remain safe, compliant, and well-maintained.
