Nearly 900 operatives will use Totalmobile’s Field First platform as one of the UK’s largest housing associations strengthens repairs and property services
SNG (Sovereign Network Group), one of the UK’s largest housing associations, has gone live with Totalmobile’s Field First platform, introducing a new approach to frontline working for nearly 900 operatives delivering housing and property services across nearly 88,000 homes.
For SNG’s customers, the investment will support faster, more consistent repairs and property services by giving operatives the right information when and where they need it and reducing administration around each visit. Real-time job updates will give office-based teams greater visibility of work as it happens, helping services respond more quickly and keeping teams better aligned throughout the working day.
Through the Mobile Working capability within Totalmobile’s multi-award-winning Field First platform, SNG will introduce guided, process-driven workflows that help operatives follow the right steps and capture required information consistently on every visit. Designed around the realities of field-based work, the technology will operate online and offline, supporting teams wherever their working day takes them.
Mike Smart, SNG’s Managing Director – Property Services, commented:
We're transforming the way we deliver repairs and property services, and this marks a significant milestone.
“By equipping nearly 900 frontline colleagues with modern mobile technology, we’re improving the information available at the point of service, increasing consistency across our operations and creating stronger foundations for future innovation.”
“Ultimately, better information leads to better decisions, and better decisions help us deliver better outcomes for our customers and communities.”
– Mike Smart, SNG’s Managing Director – Property Services
At the scale SNG operates, greater consistency across hundreds of daily interactions can make a significant difference. More accurate and timely data from the field will give SNG a clearer view of activity to evidence performance, support compliance and make more informed operational decisions.
Technology for frontline teams has to be designed around the reality of their working day.
“Housing operatives are moving between homes, dealing with different jobs and customer needs, and making decisions away from a desk. The technology has to work around them, not create another process for them to manage.
“That’s what makes this project with SNG particularly exciting. Supporting a frontline workforce of this scale gives us an opportunity to bring our experience of field operations to one of the UK’s largest housing providers, while really understanding how SNG’s teams work day-to-day. We’re looking forward to working closely with them and helping make Field First something their operatives genuinely value using.”
– David Webb, Managing Director for Housing and Facilities Management at Totalmobile
The rollout strengthens Totalmobile’s growing work with housing providers across the UK, with Field First supporting some of the UK’s largest field operating organisations as they look to improve the experience of frontline teams while gaining greater visibility across increasingly complex housing and property services.
