Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust (KMPT) and Totalmobile have recently embarked on a partnership to bring mobile working to their specialist Criminal Justice Liaison and Diversion Service (CJLDS).

Our mobile solution, integrated with Servelec’s RiO System, will aid staff in the assessment of vulnerable people who have entered the criminal justice system by providing tailored forms via a mobile device so staff can assess the needs, diverting them to health and social care services as required. The transformation work they do together with the courts and the police service ensure that vulnerable members of society receive the care they need.

With the introduction of mobile working to expedite the assessment process, the Service will be able to assess more individuals, in a quick and efficient manner that improves compliance.

Peter Griffin, CJLDS team manager, said: “We are very excited to be working with Totalmobile to develop an innovative way of entering information into our system which promotes robust clinical assessment, efficiency and a positive user experience.”

Totalmobile were delighted to attend the Criminal Justice Liaison and Diversion Service (CJLDS) new model launch event at the Ashford International Hotel on Friday 29 March 2019.

The CJLDS team were joined by partners from the police, the courts, housing and a multitude of both national and community organisations, including Totalmobile, who are working together to identify vulnerabilities and opportunities for ensuring that individuals entering the service gain access to the right support services, making positive changes to lives and breaking the offending cycle.
